"HA! HA HA HA! You wanted to spend a million years having sex with catgirls. It only took you two years to change your mind and you didn't even have sex with any catgirls."

The sad thing is that it isn't that sex with catgirls/catboys is ultimately so boring that a person will give up on it after only 2 years, it is that this guy lost all hope that he would ever really have sex with any catgirls in his lifetime.

Yes we can! Yes we can! If I could talk to this guy I would say, 'dude, hope is the only thing that makes life worth living. There are catgirls/catboys in the future waiting for you.'

Also, I do not see why the cat girls could not be both horny and sentient.

He's defining it as such for the purposes of rhetoric:
(Where "nonsentient romantic/sex partner" is pretty much what I use the word "catgirl" to indicate, in futuristic discourse. The notion of creating sentient beings to staff a volcano lair, gets us into a whole 'nother class of objections. And as for existing humans choosing to take on feline form, that seems to me scarcely different from wearing lingerie.)

And I from what I've found, sex with cat-girls (of the sentient, available in the real world, personality-only variety) is a mixed bag. I'm not sure I need to get any closer to the "real thing" there; certainly, I'd not sign up for a million years of it without a termination clause. Still, if that's your thing . . . eh? Some people juggle geese. I try not to judge.

I mostly just found the quote awesome.

Yes. The quote is awesome.

I still think that its as morally acceptable to have horny catgirls/catboys staffing your volcano lair as it is to have any staff that is working *for* you as opposed to, say, working in an anarchist cooperative.

just a note to say:
thanks for being my friend for so long. even thought we rarely talk and even more rarely see one another. through so many changes in my life and changes of name. I was reading back to the beginning of my livejournal and saw that through all the insanity of my younger years you consistently commented. I'm glad you stuck around long enough so I could really appreciate that as a stable and fully (well mostly) functioning human being.
thanks for being awesome.

Of course, hun! You got me on this mad thing; it's only fair I should get my revenge for that. Wish I wasn't such a distant friend, but I think that's a symptom of living in TX.

PS - Yer website's broke. Might wanna check on that, pardner. (You want the Stetson, you'll have to suffer the side-effects . . . ;-)

my website is probably broke because when I started building it I was friends with dave and he insisted on hosting it on his godaddy account and now were not really friends anymore, I kind of hate him, so he probably deleted it. I'm just lucky that he didn't keep the name and put something horrible on it in order to sully my name, he can be kind of shallow like that sometimes.

Ah, welcome to the principal-agent problem!

Want me to sit on him 'til he hands your name back?

that would be beautiful but I figure if he wants to be an ass about it I'll just take the pathetic/easy way out and sick my dad on him. it is always effective.
